The Blue Observer sailboat has reached Brest, its home port
Home sweet home !
96 days at sea, 56 days upwind, 3 stopovers, 6 crossings of the equator, 4 depressions, 42 starry nights… Iris arrived at the port of Brest, quai Malbert, on Thursday March 10th at 6:00 am!
Mission accomplished after 4 months at sea! A big congratulations to the whole crew who led the oceanographic expedition to its end and braved the sometimes capricious sea conditions.
A special mention for Eloïse Le Bras and Clotilde Montouroy who have come full circle!
